Yonex Voltric 70

Tadi petang survey racket badminton, rasa dah boring pakai raket Yonex Muscle Power Limited Edition (Muscle Power 99), so cari racket yang bagus untuk smash since slalu main double. Tengok kat kedai Badminton Klang (jalan meru sebelah Klang parade) ada racket baru, Yonex Voltric 70, Harga rm700 after less RM550. Teruja jugak ..hurmmm pikir2 dulu...nak beli ke tak

Kalau tak silap racket ni akan replace the old ArmorTrec series. So far tak ramai player pakai rakcet ni lagi, Chong Wei pakai Armortrec, Taufik and Peter Gade pakai Arcsaber Z and 10 respectively. So tak banyak input boleh dapat mengenai raket Voltric ni. Tapi yang paling obvious bila feel racket ni memang 'kepala' racket ni berat..power untuk smash. Better untuk play doubles kot more than singles.

Serba sedikit mengenai raket Voltric 70 ni

The stiff racket structure at the top of the frame head allows the head to bend in a very controlled way and hold shuttles on the string bed for a longer time. The thin frame side then allow the frame to flex more and transfer more energy to the shuttle. This combination allows you to smash with instant power. This racket is designed to players seeking for a combination of power and control with a head heavy balance.

Made with TriVoltage System that combines power smashes with a heavy head weight and is easier to manipulate.

YONEX VOLTRIC 70 FEATURES:

POWER: 5% increase in smashing power. The two and ten o'clock positions of the VOLTRIC frame are formed with a stiff structure that maximizes the bending power of the head. The side of the frame is thinner allowing the frame to bend more. These two characteristics work together to transfer maximum energy to the shuttle, allowing the player to unleash heavy power smashes.

AGILITY: The Control Support Cap provides 88% wider flat surface compared with an ordinary racquet for easy gripping, fast swing-through and the quickest manoeuvrability. Moving some of the weight at the top of the frame tot the T-Joint area removes any unbalanced feeling while retaining flexibility at the head allow free and smooth handling.

SOUND FILTER: Built into the VOLTRIC racquet. A strong and powerful sound is created on impact, encouraging more aggressive play and making hitting more comfortable.

BUILT IN T-JOINT: Moulded deep into the layers of graphite where the frame connects with the shaft, the YONEX built-in T-Joint creates a durable and high-strength one-piece frame that is torque-free.

* Flex: Stiff
* Frame Composition: H.M. Graphite, Sound Filter, Tungsten
* Shaft Composition: H.M. Graphite, Ultra PEF
* Weight: 4U (80-84.9g)
* Grip Size: G4 (10mm longer grip shaft)

Liverpool Anthem

LIVERPOOL ANTHEM

YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE
When you walk through a storm,
Hold your head up high,
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm,
There's a golden sky,
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Though your dreams be tossed and blown,
Walk on, walk on,
With hope in your heart,
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never walk alone...

Liverpool menang lagi

89min - GOAL FOR LIVERPOOL!! TORRES WITH THE HEADER!! Gerrard exchanged passes with Kuyt and fed Aurelio on the left; his ball was superb to the near post, where the striker headed past Cech brilliantly. It is his first goal at Anfield this season

90+4 - TORRES SCORES A SECOND!! He passes into the open goal after Benayoun skipped away from Cole - who had controlled poorly to gift the chance to the Reds

zass..kena lagi chelsea 2 kali musim ni... :)

Sapa lagi terer? video yg bawah ni lawak skit haha :p

Nadal vs Verdasco petang ni

In theory, Verdasco should have beaten his countryman and fellow lefty somewhere along the way. He's got too much raw game not to have found it one time. But he’s 0-6 against Nadal, with only one of those matches, at Queen’s in 2007, going the distance. The last time they played, at the French Open in 2008, Nadal locked him early and eventually won 1, 0, and 2. Verdasco has been impressive, from his newfound determination under pressure—in the past, he would have folded in a heartbeat when Tsonga showed signs of life in the third set yesterday—to his patient, Agassi-like way of yo-yoing his opponents back and forth along the baseline. But Nadal has been even better.
Final - Nadal vs Federer lagi nampaknya, layan la petang ni kat chanel 813

Beckham scores first goal for AC Milan

sapa nak jersi dia? murah-murah

David Beckham has hinted he could stay at AC Milan beyond the end of his loan spell. The England midfielder is due to return to the Los Angeles Galaxy in March and all parties have always insisted he will be back in America for the new Major League Soccer season (football not soccer hehe).
However, shortly after scoring his first goal for the Rossoneri, Beckham admitted anything could happen. "I'm at one of the biggest clubs in the world. And having won gives us confidence to continue." Beckham enjoyed arguably his best performance in a Milan shirt today and scored his first goal for the club on the hour mark as he helped them to a 4-1 victory at Bologna. The former Manchester United player was delighted to get off the mark at his new club.
"It's great to score my first goal - I will keep this jersey," he said. Brazilian teenager Pato began the move with a surging run down the center of the field, scattering Bologna players in his path, before passing the ball to Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf on his right.Seedorf, who had scored the tying goal in what would eventually turn out to be a 4-1 rout for AC Milan, might have taken a shot but instead slipped the ball to an unmarked Beckham on his right.
The Galaxy midfielder raced into the penalty area and unleashed a rising right-foot shot that tore past Bologna goalkeeper Francesco Antonioli and just inside the right post.It was one of Beckham's best goals in a long time and he reacted to it with a delighted grin before being mobbed by AC Milan teammates.
I think its better for beckham to stay at Milan, the standards of level in the MLS is quite low comparing to the european leagues. Perhaps beckham should try baseball when in US :p

Who has the best serve Federer or Sampras?

Well, see the video to know the answer. They both have almost an identical serve. coincidence maybe? Both are great players. Sampras would go for the ace whenever possible whereas Roger seems to go for a serve that will give him the upper hand tactically. And both motions are top notch and worthy of praise.

The Forehand of Roger Federer

How to hit a forehand like federer :)

On the list of all-time great forehands, Roger Federer’s should be near the top. It’s struck powerfully and has remarkable variety and adaptability. Of all the shots in his arsenal, it’s his forehand that he relies on most to win points. Whether he’s defending or attacking—as he’s doing in this sequence—Federer makes it all look effortless

1. Federer is turning his shoulders as he’s moving to the ball. Notice how his left hand is on the racquet even though he’s well into his preparation. This forces him to turn his shoulders. Federer uses a semi-Western grip and he’s bringing his racquet back with the head cocked above the wrist. This will ensure a loop back-swing and good spin production. He’s moving diagonally forward, rather than straight to the side, so the ball doesn’t get away from him.

2. Federer brings his racquet back and his left hand comes off the throat but stays to his right side. That’s a big change from my day, when players such as Chris Evert had their non-dominant hand out front and pointing to the oncoming ball at this stage. Keeping your off hand on the same side as your racquet produces a fuller shoulder turn, which helps you get more racquet-head speed and a more powerful shot.

3. After taking a big stride to reach this point, Federer is now calculating the distance of his next step so the ball will be at the perfect point for contact. Although he’s preparing to hit a low ball, he’s taken his racquet back quite high. Federer’s left arm remains to the right side, still assisting in his shoulder turn. In this frame and the next one his rotation is so complete that you can see much of his back.

4. Federer is lowering his body with his legs (not bending at the waist) and starting to bring his racquet down. Notice how the racquet face is closed (the strings are facing down). This is due in part to his grip, but also because of the way he leads his backswing with his elbow, pronating his forearm. This type of take-back—another big change from the straight-back, straight-forward forehand of my day—allows you to produce tremendous racquet-head speed.

5. As he starts his forward swing, Federer begins to open his torso and bring his left arm around to the front of his body. The string bed is still facing the ground. The oncoming ball is low—you can tell because he’s looking down—but his head has barely moved throughout the sequence. Federer follows the ball by moving his eyes while keeping his head as still as possible.

6. Federer has opened up completely at this point and his body is facing his target. His racquet has come forward with tremendous speed and he’ll make contact at a point that’s even with his right foot. Notice how he keeps his left hand close to his body. Just as figure skaters pull their arms close to spin faster, Federer tucks in his left arm to help his upper body turn more quickly and to get more racquet-head speed. Here we also get a good look at his semi-Western grip.

7. Though he’s well past striking the ball, Federer’s eyes are still glued to the point of contact. This is one of the reasons Federer makes such consistent contact on his shots. His follow-through, which is to the side rather than extended out front, shows just how important rotation is in his forehand. In my era, ground strokes were more linear—straight back and straight forward.

8. The ball has been directed down the line and Federer is moving back toward the center of the court, probably with the intention of following this shot to the net if it isn’t an outright winner. He’s fi nished his forehand while maintaining his balance, which will allow him to make a smooth transition forward.

Australian Open

Just watched my favourite tennis player roger federer played on tv, he beat his opponent convincingly to move to 3rd round. I think he's still the favourite to win the AO. Perhaps nadal or murray will be the final opponent. The defending US Open champion will be going for GS fourteen in Australia to equal the record. Federer has some good memories in Australia as he won it three times and fell in the semis on the other two notable occasions losing to the eventual champion each time. There are now a lot more players out there that they think that can beat the Swiss genius but his will to win is greater than most but can only see him falling to Murray, Djokovic or Nadal, players like Roddick and Nalbandian if playing well will think they have a shoot at him too.
